Route details

A 13.1 mile run along the second half of the route of the London Marathon from Tower Bridge heading east through the docklands before coming back past the Tower of London and continuing along the embankment to the Houses of Parliament before turning right for Buckingham Palace and ending on the Mall.

This route is useful as a training run just before the London Marathon in April, but there is no reason why it cannot be used at any time.

Start and finish

The route starts at the 13.1 mile point of the London marathon just east of Tower Bridge. It finishes on the Mall where the London marathon finish line is located every April.
