Fifth SAL match - Last chance to shine your T&F spikes!
Last SAL match of the season is on Saturday 15th August: we had a fantastic season so far, come along and help our team to make it even better!
After a great season with many PBs and storming performances, this is your last chance to wear your T&F spikes and compete for our SAL team. We've had a fantastic year so far, scoring more points than ever, winning matches and a man of the match awards: it would be amazing to have another strong turnout and finish the year in style (and maybe with another victory) before the mud season starts. Our fifith and last SAL fixture is on Saturday 15th August at the Terence McMillan Stadium, Newham (E13 8SD).
Events where you can compete are:
TRACK
100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m (women) and 5000m (men), 100/110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, 2000m steeplechase (men and women), 4 x 100m relay, 4 x 400m relay
FIELD
High jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault, shot, discus, javelin, hammer
Two scorers are needed for each event and non-scorers are welcome. We also really want our U17 and U20 young athletes to compete as part of the team.
Email the team captains to sign up and info. Any standard is welcome: it is a very sociable event and you never know what you could be good at until you try it.

Interested in T&F, but you don't want to compete or are injured? We also need to provide officials and helpers for the field and track events and you contribute to the scoring so can help us beat the other teams. No particular experience is required, please get in contact with the Official Coordinator for details and to sign up.
