Upcoming Serpie trail social run
Advance notice of a Serpie Trail social run - just a short hop on the train from London Euston
A WOBURN WANDER ON SATURDAY 28 FEBRUARY
Back to more traditional trail for a new route, with real mud and real cows. A 19 mile social run starting from the town of Leighton Buzzard. We meander through some scenic countryside and pass through the impressive grounds of Woburn Abbey (but not the bit with the lions) as well as the handsome village of Woburn itself. Our return route takes us along the Greensand Ridge - yes there is another Greensand Ridge north of London, not the better known Surrey one. This run would be good long slow distance if training for a spring marathon.
