Tewkesbury Half Marathon (09 May 2010)
Sold to me as fairly flat/undulating, there are in fact a few long though not steep climbs, particularly in the last third of the race. This and getting used to running alongside traffic for most of the route made it harder than expected. Marshalling, with a few notable exceptions, was not great. On the plus side the organisation by 2:09 was very good and there is a very pleasant countryside three mile or so stretch in the middle of the race which is closed to traffic.
