Hatfield Broad Oak 10k (30 May 2005)

Very well organised. The weather was cool for the first 40
minutes followed by a thunderstorm.

Hatfield Broad Oak 10k (29 May 2006)

Flattish course on the Essex Herts border. with just one small incline of note up to the 7k mark. A bit tight at the start, but a good quality surface, with no potholes, plus several drinks stations, providing conditions ideal for taking a punt at your PB. A full house of 1,200 runners of all abilities virtually took over the village for most of the Bank holiday Monday, with several of the local clubs fielding large squads for their respective championships. Worth turning up to next year even if it\'s just for the tee shirt, and the pint at village pub after the race.
